SONYACHNA BRAMA
Kiev, Ukraine, 2018
The 140-square-meter apartment is located in the residential complex Sonyachna Brama in Kyiv. On the first floor, there is a spacious, naturally lit hallway, bedrooms, a bathroom, a guest toilet, and a utility room. The living area features an open-plan layout combining the kitchen, dining area, and living room, connected by a sleek staircase leading to the second floor. The upper level includes a home office, an art studio, and a dressing room. One of the apartment’s main highlights is the two-level living room. The high ceilings, large windows, expressive staircase architecture, and second-floor structure create a unique spatial experience and a striking visual impression. Textured wooden beams, the Wireflow lamp, and refined coffee tables serve as accent elements that enhance the interior’s aesthetic.
The master bedroom is distinguished by a metal bed frame, a soft upholstered headboard, and a custom countertop with an integrated makeup table. Lighting plays a crucial role throughout the apartment. Spotlights, concealed LED strips, floor lamps, and wall sconces allow for varied moods in each room. All built-in furniture and the kitchen were custom-designed specifically for this project, taking into account the client’s preferences and functional requirements. The true secret of this project lies in the precise sense of boundaries and proportions, which creates a perfect balance of space, light, and volume.
