DEER

Kiev, Ukraine, 2015

The design of this apartment was developed following a trip to Scandinavian countries. The simplicity, clean forms, and minimalistic lines served as inspiration, and the same principles are reflected in this project. Despite the complex layout and relatively small size of the apartment, the rooms feel spacious and functional. Special attention should be given to the layout: in this one-bedroom apartment with a small bathroom, all essential functional zones were efficiently organized. The bathroom was also expanded, with part of the corridor used for a shower—making every square meter of the apartment highly functional. An unusual element is the glass block partition between the bedrooms, which provides the parents with a private space while still allowing natural light to flow through.

In the living room, a kitchen with a bar-counter island and a wine shelf was installed. The bar stools were designed by lead designer Igor Lugerin. The balcony has been transformed into a lounge area with views of the Dnipro River. The clients were extremely satisfied with the result.
